I hate to write about pages, but who doesn’t? :)
We are a bunch of programmers, that one is obvious isn’t it? Maybe someone already knows us as iNSOMNia we were an active SK demogroup 6-11 years ago. Started in the good old DOS days with assembler and no internet, those times when everyone was reinventing the wheel again and again, simply because we couldn’t just start a browser and type “how to code fast 3D” into google. But it was fun nevertheless, then Windows came and everyone was saying lets be oldschool and stick to the DOS, then 3D accelerators came and again lets be oldschool and stick to the pure selfmade software renderers…
But we didn’t, actually no one did the demoscene went forward just like the rest of the world, we moved to VisualC, we moved to vertex/pixel shaders and we still did demos, after all thats what matters.
So why Flash now? Simply because one day i (sHTiF) found myself trying to do an impressive web presentation and found this cool little Macromedia software and started to experiment with it. Back then it was pain to do some serious coding in it, but history repeated itself and as back in the oldschool days things evolved now Flash evolved as well.
So here we are, trying to push the limits… i hope you’ll enjoy it.
